Our highlights from the event
On 6th-8th June, the Reedbut Group team were in Hamburg for WTCE – the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo 2023. We were thrilled to attend this brilliant annual event for the second year in a row! It was an exciting chance to demonstrate the innovations behind our exclusive skytidy® range of sustainable airline products.
The brand new skytidy® lite
We were very pleased to announce at the event that we’re now producing skytidy® lite! This is a brand-new corrugated version of our airline trash compactor box. It will remain compatible with both Safran and Iacobucci trash compactors.
Constructed from FSC® approved recycled materials, the corrugated skytidy® lite is puncture-resistant and waterproof with increased flexibility. It offers for a lighter, more cost-effective solution to onboard rubbish collection.
New orders and MOQs
We were running a special offer during WTCE on our skytidy® Iacobucci boxes for top-loading trash compactors. This generated a significant amount of interest among the visitors to our stand, resulting in an order of Iacobucci boxes at the special discounted rate for the event.
We are also now able to share our capability of delivering MOQs of 400 units worldwide. All skytidy® products are manufactured in the UK for global delivery. Airlines all over the world can use these innovative and sustainable inflight products.
skytidy® ecotrays for cabin trolleys
Part of our stand display featured an in-situ demonstration of skytidy® ecotrays for cabin trolleys, made from fully recyclable materials. These cardboard trays can be pre-loaded by vendors with inflight meals, snacks, and drinks, then removed from cabin trolleys for dispensing.
With the option of flexo printing and branding, these recyclable cardboard trays are a lightweight solution for inflight services. They’re also useful for printed promotions or to communicate messages to passengers. Our demonstration of the ecotrays at WTCE was a real focal point of the show!
skytidy® oven trays
As part of our product showcase at WTCE, we demonstrated our new skytidy® oven trays, a recyclable alternative to ovenable baskets made from plastic or metal.
The skytidy® oven safe trays are compatible with all front-loading ovens and suitable for temperatures up to 220˚C. Fully collapsible and made from recycled cardboard, they are food-contact safe and feature a unique heat-circulation design.
We’ve worked hard to develop this new addition to the skytidy® range, ensuring the oven trays were safety tested for flammability & toxicity and conform to FAA and EASA regulations.
