Part Two: Exhibiting skytidy®
Welcome to the second installment of our Annual Roundup blog series for 2022! If you’d like to catch up on the first post from last week, you can find it here.
This week we’ll be looking at an exciting moment from back in June, when the Reedbut Group team visited Hamburg to attend the World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) and showcase our exclusive skytidy® product.
The skytidy® Zodiac airline trash compactor box is an exclusive Reedbut Group product developed in collaboration with a leading British airline. Launched three years ago after rigorous testing in standard single and double trash compactor systems, we officially exhibited it for the first time earlier this year at WTCE and it received a fantastic response. We were delighted to be able to showcase how it functions as a seamless component of the inflight trash compactor cycle and eases the process of onboard rubbish collection. Puncture-resistant, fully waterproof, and made using recycled materials from FSC® sustainable sources, it’s ideal for both quick runway turnarounds and hygienic storage of accumulated rubbish.
Alongside the skytidy® Zodiac, we also manufacture the skytidy® Iacobucci trash compactor box, which is fully compatible with top-loading airline trash compactor units. We can ship the skytidy® Zodiac and Iacobucci all over the world, with customers in Europe, Asia, and North America able to benefit from our now fully-automated manufacturing process, running 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
We now offer an additional range of eco-friendly skytidy® products, all aimed at streamlining inflight services and bringing new sustainable solutions to the airline industry. This includes the skytidy® Zodiac trash compactor box, skytidy® Iacobucci for top-loading trash compactor units, skytidy® ecotrays, a substitute for conventional plastic cabin trolley trays, and skytidy® trolley-top trays, utility boxes for aircrew to use while serving passengers.
We were very excited to be able to exhibit the skytidy® range for the first time at WTCE this year. It’s always great when we can bring the products directly to our customers, allowing them to see the packaging for themselves, meet the team, and ask questions in person about the solutions we can offer. We’d like to once again thank everyone who visited our stand there in June – it was a fantastic show and a pleasure to meet so many people.
If you’re interested in any products from the skytidy® range mentioned above, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Check in next week for the third and final blog in this series, where we look at two of our exclusive eCommerce products which were recognised for innovation at Packaging Innovations and London Packaging Week!
