Our highlights from the event
On the 21st and 22nd September, the Reedbut Group team were at ExCeL London for London Packaging Week 2023! We were really excited to exhibit at this show once again, sharing our newest innovative packaging solutions and what we as a business are all about.
A win for the eReturn
Our new innovative product, the eReturn, won the Innovation Showcase! This plastic and tape-free returnable box was developed by our design team to be revealed at the show. Lots of the visitors to our stand were interested in how it works, and we were thrilled that so many of them voted the eReturn for the Showcase award!
The eReturn is 100% recyclable and made from sustainable corrugated cardboard. It can be printed inside and out in a single machine pass, and with its unique double-locking system can easily be used to both send out and return eCommerce products.
The new eSecure
As part of our other preparations for London Packaging Week, we also developed a second exclusive packaging solution which we displayed on our stand – the eSecure!
The new eSecure is designed to keep phones, tablets, and other tech items securely protected. This tape-free protective box utilises custom cardboard internal fittings, minimising empty space and reducing movement during transit.
We had samples of of the eSecure on our stand, and the team were able to demonstrate. how it can be assembled from a single piece of corrugated cardboard, printed inside and out. The chocolate bars we put inside each assembled box were not only delicious, but an excellent example of how they can hold products safely in place!
Our London Packaging Week 2023 stand
We were able to have twice the amount of stand space at London Packaging Week as with previous shows – so we needed a stand that took advantage of that opportunity! Our design team worked incredibly hard to put our stand together, cutting and assembling the whole thing at our Milton Keynes site before building it for the exhibition.
And what a result! Our stand was definitely a talking point, with many visitors approaching us just to take photos of it, or say they thought it looked great! We were really proud to build something that stood out and showed who we are as a designer and manufacturer of cardboard packaging.
