Towards the end of last year, our design team began to work on a new plastic-free eCommerce packaging solution to go alongside our exclusive eLok and eLetterbox.
This time, the goal was to create an innovative corrugated mailer pack. We wanted an alternative to plastic-based bags or padded envelopes; recyclable packaging, that still ensured the contents were fully protected.
The solution we’re very proud to present is the brand new e-Envelope!
A brand new mailer pack alternative
The e-Envelope corrugated cardboard pack offers a unique, letterbox-friendly option for packaging flat or thin items for mailing. With a tamper-evident locking mechanism and extra rigidity built into the design, it also keeps important packages secure during transit.
Manufactured from FSC® approved sustainable materials and water-based glue, the e-Envelope is completely free of tape and plastic, and 100% recyclable. Print can be applied inside and out in a single machine pass. Stock and bespoke sizes are available to suit a wide variety of products.
Assembly is fast and easy! Push in at the sides to pop it open, insert the contents, then fold over the locking tab to close. The push-and-click closure locks in to prevent tampering, and the single-tear perforated panel opens upon receipt to reveal full-colour print.
At Packaging Innovations 2023, the e-Envelope was shortlisted for the Innovation Gallery! It stood out for its unique capabilities and exclusive design. We’re proud of all the design team’s hard work to create this brilliant sustainable mailer pack that delivers a unique experience for customers and corresponds to the changing needs of the eCommerce market.
